Chris has been placed to rest at Brookside Cemetery, located at 3001 Notre Dame Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A small, intimate gathering was present for his internment, and everyone is invited to visit his final resting place.
His Memorial Stone, Number 28, is in the Memorial Gardens, located SouthEast of the Administration Building.
We will post additional pictures when the plaque arrives in the Fall.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Alexander Francis Young on May 21, 2021, at the age of 54.
Chris was born in Winnipeg and spent his life surrounded by family and friends, who knew him for his quick wit and winning smile. An accomplished guitarist and music lover, he was also defined by his insatiable love of film. The ultimate gearhead, his unsurpassed mechanical skill and knowledge shone from muscle cars to guitars.
Chris is survived by his dearly loved children, Hunter and Samantha; his mother Josephine and grandmother Frances; his siblings, Angelina and Richard; his cousins, Benjamin, Jessica and Rebecca; his aunts, Victoria and Susanne; and his uncles, Francis and Ellery.
An in-person gathering will be scheduled at a later date.
